Two of the best and most popular smartphones currently on the market are the Apple iPhone 5 and the BlackBerry Z10. Both of these mobile phones have many wonderful features to offer consumers. iOS 6 is a neat and well organized operating system that includes Apple’s clean and easy to use user interface. It includes great features that are built into the iPhone 5, such as Facebook, Maps, Passbook and Siri.
BlackBerry 10 is a whole new operating system that is a great improvement over previous versions. It relies gestures that bring the user to apps and is all about continuous movement. There is no back button and everything continues to move forward.

The BlackBerry Z10 is the first BlackBerry to have a full touchscreen and no QWERTY keyboard. The display is 4.2 inches, with a resolution of 1280 by 768 pixels and a 335 pixel density.
In terms of internal storage, the iPhone 5 reigns supreme. There are three choices consumers have in 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. Of course, there is no microSD slot for memory expansion.
The BlackBerry Z10 only offers 16GB of internal storage. However, it has a microSD card slot that is said to support cards of up to 32GB or even as much as 64GB.
The iPhone 5 can be packed with many useful apps from the iTunes App Store, which boasts well over 650,000 apps. All of the biggest ones in every category can be found, many for free.
BlackBerry’s App World is considerably slim pickings in comparison. At the same time, many of the most essential apps can be found.
Popularity is a huge factor in determining your new smartphone. The iPhone 5 has a great reputation and is easy to use, reliable and fast.
BlackBerry has slipped over the years, a trend that started with the release of the original iPhone in 2007. The BlackBerry Z10 has a lot of great features to offer, but it remains to be seen whether it is too late for the platform.
