Which One’s Rny Xpeight For Me? The Sony Eperia J Vs. The Huawei Ascend G600
If you’re in the market for a decently priced mobile phone, you may be more than a little overwhelmed by the all 3G offers you see. With so many great models on the market, not to mention so many mobile phone service providers offering great deals with free or steeply discounted phones, choosing can be hard. And even phones that both look great and both run the same version of an operating system can be pretty different. But that’s where we’re here to help. Today we’re looking at the Sony Xperia J and the Huawei Ascend G600. Both of these phones are frequently offered for extremely low prices with most service providers, and the both run Android’s 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. But we wanted to know exactly how they compare, so we put them to the test, head to head to find out what their differences are. So if you’re looking for a reasonable new mobile device, keep reading to find out our results and which of these two models we recommend..
Why You Should go for the Huawei Ascend G600…
The Huawei has a few things going for it. It’s the faster phone. It comes running a 1200 MHz processor rather than the 1000 MHz processor on the Xperia, making it more powerful and snappier. It also runs double the amount of RAM of the Xperia, making it more responsive and better able to handle multi-tasking and running more than one process at a time. It has a larger screen, measuring in at four and a half inches as compared to the four inch screen on the Xperia. And the display has thirty per cent higher resolution too, making it brighter and clearer than the picture on the Xperia. The Ascend also has a higher resolution camera, since it comes equipped with an 8 MP in built device as opposed to the 5 MP camera on the Xperia. This means that photos taken with the Ascend are simply better quality and more finely detailed than those taken on the Sony.
What the Sony Xperia J Has to Offer…
But the Xperia has a few advantages of its own. It has a better battery life, averaging forty per cent more talk time and thirty per cent more stand by time per battery charge cycle than the Huawei, meaning less time spent charging your phone. It also comes with better Bluetooth support, being equipped with Bluetooth 2.1 rather than the older 1.0 version on the Ascend. If you frequently connect to Bluetooth devices such as hands free, the newer version means that you get faster data transfer and that your phone uses less battery power when connecting to Bluetooth devices. Finally, the Xperia also comes in smaller and thinner than the Ascend, but it does have a smaller screen, don’t forget.
Which One Do You Recommend?
This time our recommendation goes with the Huawei Ascend G600. It’s more powerful, and has a better and bigger display, and the better camera is just an added bonus. We’d choose the Huawei over the Sony Xperia J any time.
