The New Samsung Galaxy S4 LaunchDate Approaches
Today, everyone in the mobile arena is crazy for the Galaxy S4, the latest Android phone from Samsung, rumoured to be launched in mid-May and made available in the US and the UK by mid-June 2013. From features the mobilehandset would contain, to the design and the Wi-Fi connectivity facilities, there is speculation from everyone around. The suspense is great and unfortunately, no one from Samsung is willing to divulge any details of the mobile phone model – which many say would be the biggest and the best phone to roll out of the Samsung bandwagon!
Advanced features on the cards
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is believed to run on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform, which is the top current OS for Google based devices. Moreover, the smart phone is expected to have a device with sleek and smart Wi-Fi cards that would deliver better speeds, longer range distances, and better connectivity. Soon, 4G LTE will be a thing of the past and both, the Samsung Galaxy and iPhone series are looking to catch up with the possibility of a fifth-generation communication system.
Advanced battery performance
Most smart phones have to make do with a battery that drains quickly – the more you tend to use its features the faster it dies on you. However, with the Samsung Galaxy series, there is a 4335 chip on the cards that makes sure there is no huge battery power drain experienced in the phone. While you multitask or operate the mobile phone, the battery does not leak out huge power quantities to applications running in the background. Therefore battery consumption is reduced and the Samsung S4 stays on longer than you expected. The 4G LTE system that the Samsung mobile uses ensures that you catch Wi-Fi signals easily and don’t have to rely on large batteries that drain power searching for Wi-Fi signals.
More features on the cards
If rumours are to be believed, sources claim that the Samsung S4 will have a 4.99 inch AMOLED display (backlit) with a full 1080 p resolution. Moreover, the processors will operate at 1.5 GHz and feature a quad-core Snapdragon base that makes multitasking much easier. The 13 Mpcamera at the rear would be great to shoot videos and pictures with 3D clarity. The phone will have many personalisation options, great call audio quality, and space to stack numerous apps. We couldn’t ask for more, especially since there is a 2600 mAh battery that accompanies the robust hardware!
When will the S4 be released?
Since the Galaxy S3 was launched in 2012 during the Olympic Games, there are people who believe that the S4 would be launched during the 2014 Olympics in Russia. But then, Russia was never a target market for Samsung and its products. Possibly, Samsung might launch the Galaxy S4 during mid-June or mid-July in both the US and UK, with the official price and spec listing. Or the company might surprise you, as it sometimes does!
