Two Smartphones that Stand Out – Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and LG Optimus L9
There are plenty excellent smart phones available that will not need you to sell any arms or legs. Low cost handsets like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the LG Optimus L9 are also great devices to have, as far as performance, speed, and elegance are concerned. Read on as we present to you a fully-fledged review of both of these smart phones.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2
With a huge 5.5 inch screen, the Note 2 is an extremely dashing and flamboyant product to have in your pocket. It is also amazingly slim for the size it is. Loaded with a lot of snazzy features, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 boasts 4G LTE services, a dual-core processor, a whopping internal memory space of 16 GB and an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update that makes it a great interface to have.
Another feature that makes the Galaxy Note 2 a great product to have is the S Pen it comes with. Most users won’t ever use the pen since the screen is amazingly responsive to touches, but for those who do, it is a welcome respite. The S Note lets you jot down a lot of text and doodles on the screen with your S Pen. A wonderful camera and loads of social media apps make the Samsung Galaxy a worthy replacement to most tablets. However, it remains to be seen if people around the world choose to carry the phone around in their pockets, owing to its bulky size.
Disregarding the huge size and the bloat-ware that the handset comes with, we highly recommend the Note 2 for its charisma and elegance.
LG Optimus L9
Though it is a tad unfair to compare the slightly mediocre LG Optimus L9 with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, we still rave about it thanks to its extremely low price and high quality features.
The LG Optimus L9 has a pleasing design and a compact screen with high resolution levels. The front camera, which features 1.2MP resolution, is another great quality to cheer for. Moreover, the dual-core processor and the Android 4.0 OS make the LG Optimus L9 a great phone to have for multitasking in moderation.
The apps and the features that the LG Optimus L9 flaunts include Mobile TV, a lot of navigation tools, game interface, and chat plug-ins. There is enough internal storage memory to accommodate for Skype and Drop Box downloads too, making the smart phone easy to remain connected with on the go.
However, when you look at the battery it is dismal, you are tempted to go in for another handset that stays powered for the most part of the day. The Internet speeds are also not very inspiring.
If you are short of cash and need a good quality smart phone with all the essentials stacked firmly in place, the LG Optimus L9 might be a great choice for you. It is certainly one of the best you can expect out of a smart phone in its range.
